Geekscape Episode 56 keeps the tunes rocking... with no music at all.

Man, it's been a while since I bulletined a Geekscape episode but I really have to get behind this one. I think it's a solid little episode full of the kind of talk and geeking out you've come to expect from Geekscape. So here you go:

Guest Co-host: Reel Big Fish's Scott Klopfenstein! - Review: "The Orphanage"! News: Warner Bros. goes Blu-Ray! Routhe still The Man of Steel? Favreau wants to direct The Avengers... who doesn't? Scott got booed by 72,000 people! It's all here!

Gilmore Challenges London to Race at 1st Annual Geekscape Picnic!

In a surprise moment of absolute denial about the slug-like nature of his rapidly declining physique (which hasn't actually broken a sweat in 4 years), Brian "The Spark" Gilmore challenged Jonathan "The Bullet" London (whose back breaks a sweat 24/7) to a footrace at the 1st Annual Geekscape Picnic. This could go down as the event of the year. Place your bets. Dates still to be determined.

The Forums are Down!

Today I woke up to Big Yanks crying over IM that the forums were down. NetRiver did some maintenance and we are putting them back up as soon as we can. A file went here. We went there. It's getting fixed.

Don't worry. I told Gilmore that it's almost refreshing to have a few hours without the forums helping me procrastinate and ruin my life.

And once they're back we're going to have a bit of news regarding the picnic.
